It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M. Mechling of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 2, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Kyle Shaeffer. He is survived by: his children, Shon Mechliing (Carol) of Kittanning and Cher Shaeffer (John) of Kittanning; his grandsons, Nick of Kittanning, Caleb Mechling of Kittanning, Brad of Kittanning and Kevin Shaeffer of Kittanning; and his brothers, Stan Mechlling (Sherry) of Ohio and Allen Mechling (Gemma) of Renfro. He is also survived by his wife of 54 years whom he married.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Harvest Church.
