She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mechling and Maria Mechling (Hodson); her husband Benjamin Calano; her siblings, Kelly Mechling, James Mechling, Nellie Cogley, Lois Hill, Maude Crawford and Lome Sheasley; and her son-in-law Barry Aki.
She is survived by: her children, David Calano (Sandy) of Kittanning and Suzette Aki of Las Vegas; and her grandchildren, Michele Aki of Las Vegas and Barry Aki (Teri) of Hatch, Utah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
