She is survived by: her children, James Alwine (Heather), Tannie Alwine and Shawn Shaffer (Casey); her siblings, Peggy Reitler, Dale Reitler and Melissa Reitler; and her grandchildren, Chelsea, Gabriel, Kara, Allison, Emma, Rosalie, Lilly, Brielle, Loryn and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
