She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Bernard and Elizabeth Bycroft Conaghan (DeLong); her husband Dean Millard Crooks; her son Kim Crooks; her foster son Rev. Bertram Gaines; and her siblings, Thomas Bernard Conaghan, John Philip Conaghan, Anna Jane Woleslagle and Sarah Frances Lafferty.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Millard Crooks of Kittanning and Karin Crooks Hoover (Jon) of Clearwater, FL; her daughter-in-law Roxanne Gaines of Toledo, OH; her grandchildren, Cory Jon Hoover (Maria), Todd Alan Hoover (Kelly), Megan Mary Frances Hoover, Greg, Tobin Kim Crooks, Jacob Dean Crooks (Jeanna), Marisa Ann Crooks, Russel Dean Gaines, Jesse Gaines and Cara Gaines; and her great grandchildren, Amanda Sinclair Hoover, Samuel Jon Hoover, Alexander David Beckman, Sofia Michelle Hoover, Isabella Marie Hoover, Alyssa Kimberly Crooks, Kailey Janelle Crooks, Kamryn Paige Johns, Kinsley Jade Harper, Elliana Grace Crooks and Oliver Jacob Crooks.
