He was predeceased by: his son Gregory W. Johns; and his brother Harry Lee Johns. He is survived by: his children, Border Collie, Rocket and Annie; his close friend Max; his wife Mary Johns (Lefchik); his children, Michael W. Johns of Chiefland, Fla., Patrick W. Johns (Megan) of Jacksonville, Fla. and Laurie Griffen (Larry) of Shelby, AL; and his niece Jessica Bure Martin. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
