He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth A. Cable and Martha A. Cable (Stivason); his brother Kenneth E. Cable; and his brother-in-law John Fabry. He is survived by: his wife Carole L. Cable (Lindeman); his foster son Gary Metzler (Cynthia) of Lake City, SC; and his sisters, Shirley Campbell (Harry) of Ford City and Carolyn Fabry of South Bend. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jerry's honor to St. John's Lutheran Church, 218 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, Pa 16201.
