James W. Ternent Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Ternent Jr. of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Ternent and Isabella M. Ternent (Allen); and his wife Alice Hill Ternent. He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Smith (Alan) of Vandergrift and Melinda Arndt (Tony) of Mooresville, NC; his brother William A. Ternent (Janet) of Ormond Beach, FL; his cousin Henry Ternent; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Courtney) of McDonald, PA, Katie Smith of Vandergrift, PA, Eric Arndt of Ohio and Alexander Arndt (Stephanie) of China Grove, NC; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Adele, Lydia Smith and Gabriel Arndt.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (301 N Jefferson St, Kittanning, PA 16201).
