It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James W. Ternent Jr. of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Ternent and Isabella M. Ternent (Allen); and his wife Alice Hill Ternent. He is survived by: his daughters, Anita Smith (Alan) of Vandergrift and Melinda Arndt (Tony) of Mooresville, NC; his brother William A. Ternent (Janet) of Ormond Beach, FL; his cousin Henry Ternent; his grandchildren, Christopher Smith (Courtney) of McDonald, PA, Katie Smith of Vandergrift, PA, Eric Arndt of Ohio and Alexander Arndt (Stephanie) of China Grove, NC; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Adele, Lydia Smith and Gabriel Arndt.
