He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Cogley and Linnie Cogley (McAfoose); his siblings, Fred, Thomas, Harry "Pete" Cogley, Christine Cogley, Jean Armstrong and Shirley Stivason; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Cogley.
He is survived by: his wife Helen L. Cogley (Whitaker); his sons, James B. Cogley of Ford City and Michael Cogley (Karen) of Templeton; his granddaughters, Brittanny Cicolini (Mike) and Kayla Graham (Skyler); his stepgrandchildren, Charity McEntire (Dennis), Brian Atherton (Shannon) and Justin Atherton; and his siblings, Catherine Blystone, Peggy Kozuch (Tony), Will Cogley (Mary Ann) and Larry "Bo" Cogley (Lucy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great grandchildren.
