Helen L. Rood Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen L. Rood of Kittanning, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Marshall and Bessie Marshall (Dailey); her husband Clair "Mick" H. Rood; her grandsons, Blaine and Tyler Copenhaver; and her sister Jean Marshall.

She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey J. Rood of Kittanning, Vicki Rood McGuire (Michael) of Kansas City, MO and Melissa Rood Copenhaver (Thomas) of Kittanning; her granddaughters, Abby and Kelsey Copenhaver; her great grandchildren, Mary Kate, Brendan Lillis, Millie, Sophie Dondle, Layne and Pierce Christy; her stepgranddaughters, Shannon Lillis (Patrick), Megan Dondle (Stan), Hannah Christy and Haley Bower; and her sisters, Phyllis Smith (Herman) of Polk, PA and Kay Fink (Edward) of Tarentum, PA..
