She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas E. Held and Elma Held (Grimm); her husband John V. Boylstein; her granddaughter Jessica North; and her siblings, Frances Lee, Gloria Jean and Thomas.

She is survived by: her sons, Ron E. Boylstein (Shirley) of Plum, Mark A. Boylstein (Jenny) of Valparaiso, IN, Terry L. Boylstein (Cindy) of Creekside and Scott E. Boylstein (Becky) of Kittanning; and her brothers, Edward Held (Delores) of Virginia Beach, VA and Ricky Held. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
