He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn "Pinky" Hankey; his son David Hankey; his daughter-in-law Joan Hankey; and his siblings, Lillian Remaley, Helen Haley, Lois Febinger and William Hankey.
He is survived by: his children, Sharen Rhodes (Robert) of Kane and Jerry Hankey of Shelocta; his daughter-in-law Deborah Hankey of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Michael Roberts of Kane, Jaime Sourdiff (Anthony) of Vermont, Jennifer Crawford (Kevin) of Kittanning, Jeremy Hankey (Melissa) of Kittanning and Jordan Hankey of Homer City; and his great grandchildren, Karli, Riley Roberts, Landon, Olivia Crawford, Carter, Coltyn Hankey, Wynter Bothworth, Madison and Aiden Sourdiff.
The family asks that any memorial contributions be made to Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Rd., Cabot, PA 16023 or to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
