With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Aites (Kittanning, Pennsylvania), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 2, 2019 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris Aites to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James L. Simpson and Effie G. Simpson (Beck); her son Larry; and her siblings, Nelda Bowser and Donald.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Aites of Kittanning; her children, Raylene Curran (Bert) of East Brady, William P. Wilson of Apex, NC and Charles M. Wilson (Becky) of Imperial, PA; her stepdaughters, Cheryl Linn (Roy), Lori Adams (Rick) and Lisa Rogers; and her siblings-in-law, Elmer "Red" Aites and Gail Hartman. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the Special Olympics, 200 Cedar Ridge Drive, Suite 214 Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
