He was predeceased by: his father Edward C. Shepherd. He is survived by: his mother Brenda Shepherd (Oliver) of McAdoo; his fiancée Kayla Johns of Kittanning; his sons, William of Ford City and Theodore Shepherd of Ford City; and his brothers, David A. Shepherd of New Jersey, James M. Shepherd (Sheila) of Hazleton and Samuel K. Shepherd of McAdoo.
