She was predeceased by: her father Robert Higginson; and her parents-in-law, Carl and Dorothy Smith. She is survived by: her mother Evelyn Higginson of Kittanning; her husband Lloyd Smith of Kittanning; her daughters, Jessica Reiss (Edward) of Kittanning, Tara Smith of Ford City and Regan Smith of Kittanning; her grandchildren, Brooke Reiss, Justin Reiss and Jackson Smith; and her siblings, Robert Higginson, Jr. of Richmond, Kimberly Bowman (Roger) of Knox and Fran Recupero (Joseph) of Kittanning. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association or to the Orphans of the Storm.
