He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardreine Pearl (Updyke) and Charles R. Harpster, Sr.; and his son Jonathan Miles Harpster. He is survived by: his wife Juliana M. Harpster (Sziraki); his sons, David J. Sziraki of Leechburg and Scott C. Harpster of Biglerville, PA; and his grandchildren, Derian J. Sziraki, Paige Pacek and Daisia Harpster.
