She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Bowser and Twila Bowser (Crawford); her husband Harvey Dowling; and her siblings, Merle, Keith Bowser and Gaye Lackey of Butler.
She is survived by: her children, Deirdre, Jeff Gallaher of Stephens City, VA, Derek and Tammie Dowling of Ford City; her granddaughter Cara (Rob Abbott); her great grandchildren, Linden and Connor; her granddaughters, Larissa (Kevin Lynch) and Nicole Sabotula of Apollo; her great grandchildren, Mason and Waylon; her granddaughters, Courtney and Zach Feulmer of Apollo; her great grandchildren, Owen, Ryder, Colbee and Rory; and her sisters-in-law, Doris Bowser of Butler and Dru Beattie of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home (200 S McKean St, Kittanning, PA 16201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Carol B. Dowling, 81, of Kittanning, ended her long-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease on January 20, 2025.
