He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Chemelli and Anna Chemelli (Floriani); his wife Bessie M. Chemelli (Olcus); and his siblings, Geno Chemelli, Richard David Chemelli and Rose Gribik.

He is survived by: his sister Laura Capizzi of Maryland.
