He was predeceased by: his siblings, Walter Barnhart, Betty Brody and Marlene Gray. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Barnhart (Hawley) of Kittanning; his children, Rex Barnhart (Darla) of Kittanning, Susan Bowser (Jack) of Worthington and Pamela Karns (Richard) of Kittanning; his grandchildren, Cari Chavira (Chris) of Kittanning, Travis Barnhart of Kittanning, Christopher Bowser (Autumn) of Worthington, Sean Bowser (Kaylee) of Tennessee, Abby Kail (Joshua) of Beaver, Tobias Bowser of Worthington, Tyler Karns of Kittanning and Haylea Karns of Kittanning; his sister Myrna Steffey; and his sister-in-law Joy Barnhart of Kittanning. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
