She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lesley (Catherine Osman), Karen Lesley (Ronald Rice), Eileen Scotten (Michael Godra) and Peter Lesley; her grandchildren, David Lesley, Sarah Osman Lesley, Dwayne Hugh Scotten, R. Christopher Scotten and Cheyenne Lesley; and her great grandchildren, Tyler Scotten, Jared Scotten, Landon Scotten, Olivia Scotten and Sydney Fey.

“My family and I new Ruth for about 25 years. We bought a laundromat from Ruth and Jim. Since that time we stayed in touch with Ruth off and on. Jim and Ruth were good enough to assist us, via financing a portion of the purchase price, when we purchased the laundromat, so I'd often see and talk with Ruth when visiting them to make our monthly payment. Ruth was a woman of many talents, altering garments for our entire family, and giving our daughter sewing and art lessons. We will miss her.”
