Karen Lesley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2023, at the age of 64, Karen Lesley (Kirkwood, Pennsylvania), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Lesley and Ruth Lefever (Hammell) of Oxford, PA.. She is survived by: her husband Captain Ronald Rice; her siblings, Kenneth Lesley (Catherine Osman), Eileen Scotten (Michael Godra) and Peter Lesley; and her nieces and nephews, Dwayne Hugh Scotten, R. Christopher Scotten, David Lesley, Sarah Osman Lesley and Cheyenne Lesley.
Karen was an incredibly talented seamstress, creating custom outfits and bags, multiple wedding and bridesmaid dresses, draperies, and even pandemic masks out of fun fabrics.
Flowers are welcome but please consider a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society or one of her favorite nonprofits: Oxford or Quarryville library, the Leif Ericson Viking Ship, Inc.
