He was predeceased by: his parents, Munsey T. Dickens and Vadia Maxwell Dickens; and his son John Ray Dickens, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Sue Cornette Dickens; and his daughter Chasity R. Astheimer (Chuck).
