With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnne Campbell Hershey (Kinzers, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 80. In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact JoAnne Campbell had on those she encountered along her journey. Though JoAnne Campbell may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Campbell and Alma Burkholder Campbell; and her husband J. Kenneth Hershey. She is survived by: her children, Regina (Patrick Hartsfield) of Charlottesville, VA, Steven (Jennifer Ulrich Hershey) of Quarryville and Jenelle "Jenny" (Roy Gerlach) of Strasburg; and her sister Doris (Clyde Deiter) of Quarryville. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hershey Mennonite Church (401 Hershey Church Rd, Kinzers, PA 17535). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She loved to teach and taught EMT classes for EHSF and HACC, also teaching CPR, Advanced Life Support and Pediatric Life Support for the American Heart Association.
