With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Salvatore T. Grasso of Kingston, Pennsylvania, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his father Salvatore Angeline D'Agata Grasso; his wife Caroline Grasso; his siblings, Frank Grasso, Angeline Kurent and Jenny Grasso; and his brothers-in-law, Joseph Kurent and Carl Vigo.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Caroline (Robert Oppenheim) and Michael Vourkas; his sister-in-law Toni Grasso; and his nephews, Michael, David Grasso and Joseph Kurent III.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Graziano Funeral Home (700 S Township Blvd, Pittston, PA 18640). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (612 Mt Olivet Rd, Wyoming, PA 18644).
