He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Sapolis and Josephine Kovalan Sapolis; his son Richard; his stepson Timothy Anderson; and his siblings, Ella Mae, Dorothy, William and Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Tribus of Kingston; his daughter Lisa Sapolis (Joel Freedman) of New York; his stepchildren, Christine Gangaware (David) of Ohio and Matthew Anderson of Kingston; his siblings, Joseph Sapolis of Oregon, Ann of New Jersey and Judy of Exeter; and his close friend Buddy Brezinski.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home Inc. (204 Main St, Duryea, PA 18642).
