It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Emel of Kingston, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph L. and Mary A. Emel; and his siblings, Perry, Raymond, Herbert, Max, Melvin, Rosie, Janet and Kate.
He is survived by: his close friend Edythe L. Vann; his sons, Joseph J. Emel (Nadine) of Larksville and Louis Emel of Kingston; his grandchildren, Brandon, Alyson, Natalie, Makenzie, Louis Jr. and Piper; and his siblings, Terry, Tina, Dorothy and Patty. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Yeosock Funeral Home (40 S Main St, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18705).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Joseph's memory to support Parkinson's research or the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
