He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Walter and Rose Kontra Walter (Raymond); and his siblings, Michael Kontra, John Kontra, Sr., Mae Williams and Rose Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Kontra (Mac Leod) of Upper Merion; his children, Walter Kontra (Lauri) of King and Jacquelyn Denick (Daniel) of Dacula; his siblings, Francis Kontra of King, Emma Zimmerman of Collegeville and Patricia Kontra of Swedeland; and his grandchildren, Emily, Tyler, Nicolas, Mia and Sophia.
