She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Kaplan (Gene); her parents, Gertrude Rosenkrantz and Herman Rosenkrantz; and her sisters, Ruth Rosenkrantz, Doris (Creed), Natalie (Josephs), Renée (Kaseff) and Sandra (Brotman).
She is survived by: her boyfriend Dr. Joseph Bender; her children, Joel (Marlene) and Beverly Kraut (late Alan); her grandchildren, Matthew, Bradley (Sabrina), Casey, Joshua (Julia) and Benjamin (Natalie); and her great grandchildren, Greta, Amandine, Théo, Oren, Pascal, Matilda, Solomon, Ashton, Ryder, Jaden and Misha.
Shirlee was one of the founders of the Linda Creed Breast Cancer Foundation and volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia.
