She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Astle; her parents, William Hegland and Esther Hegland; and her sister Dorothy Lipinski. She is survived by: her children, DuWayne Astle (Janet) and Marsha Franz (Stefan); and her grandchildren, Melinda Gaus (Steven), Erich Franz and Tresa Franz.
