He was predeceased by: his parents, Adeline Lauro (Perna) and Samuel Lauro; and his brothers, Salvatore "Sam" and John Lauro. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie Lauro (Kuhna); his daughters, Janet Wells (Thomas), Linda Jo Hansell (Joseph), Jo Ann Rivas (Gil) and Shirl Lauro; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole Hansell, Grant, Garrett and Gabby Rivas; his great grandchild David Joseph Michniewicz; and his siblings, Richard Lauro (Naomi), Louise "Liz" Silvestro, Rose Hamilton and Maryanne Cagliola. He is also survived by 5 step great-grandchildren.
