He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Robert and Rosemary Altland (Blough); his children, John Richard Altland (Jenn Spotts) and Kelley Marie Altland (Roberto DeLeon); his siblings, Donald Altland (Susie) and Barbara Grey-Messenger (Tim); his niece Amber Bankemper (Tom); his great-nephews, Miles and Oscar; his nephew Will Messenger (Jacqueline); and his great-nieces, Lucia and Francesca.
