Garrity, IV (Samantha) of Havertown, PA, Cynthia "Cindy" Casey (Keith) of Bodentown, NJ, Elizabeth "Libby" McCampbell (Jeff) of Aston, PA and Diana Vieria (Sean) of Reston, VA; his grandchildren, Therese, Lucy, Seamus, Cole, Kyle, Peter, Marin and Adam; and his siblings, Thomas, Mark, John (Sharon), Patrick, Joseph Garrity (Paula) and Mary "Macie" Schlernitzauer (John).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James' memory to the Boy Scouts of America, National Council, P.O. Box 152079, Irving, Texas 75015-2079.
