He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Bud" Downing and Josephine Downing (Richards). He is survived by: his wife Jennifer L. Downing (Lear); his children, Heather Giandonato (Joe) and George "Keith" Downing (Laura); his stepson Greg Konigsbauer (Angela); his grandchildren, Ryan, Dylan, Kaitlyn Giandonato, Morgan, Julia Downing, Jack and Charlotte Konigsbauer; and his siblings, Paul Downing (Beverly) and Carol Budzinski (Alex).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dan's memory to Hope Community Church at the above address.
