He was predeceased by: his parent William Clark Schmidt; and his sibling Hank Schmidt. He is survived by: his parent Mary Quinlan Schmidt; his spouse Ellen P. Schmidt; his children, William Clark Schmidt, II, Patrick Geoffrey Schmidt and Mary Kathleen Schmidt; and his siblings, Leslie DeLigio, Susan Pie, Cindy Jennings (Tom) and Lisa Boiani. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
