He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Granger and Pearl Hanna Burgess (Bingaman); and his brother Alexander "Butch" Burgess, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Marie Burgess (Houppert); his children, Alexander Burgess and Kelly Kasza (Michael); his granddaughters, Kylie and Kelsey; and his siblings, John Burgess and Joan Flynn. He is also survived by one nephew; and three nieces.
