He was predeceased by: his parents, William Barrie and Elizabeth Crann; his wife Joan E. Barrie; and his brother Gordon Barrie. He is survived by: his son Glenn Barrie; his grandchildren, Gillian Barrie and Cameron Barrie; and his brother Wallace Barrie.
