He was predeceased by: his parents, Nickolas and Filomena; his sister Ermelinda; and his wife Frances Desmond (Spalla). He is survived by: his children, Daryl Desmond (Colleen) of Burlington, MA, David Desmond (Theresa) of Bridgeport, PA, Virginia Pietruszka (Carl) of Harleysville, PA and Mary Kourakin of Mays Landing, NJ; his grandchildren, Shaun, Jason (Sarah), Amy, Angela, Karen (Paul), Stephen, Megan, Michelle (Joshua) and Austin; his great grandchildren, Sophia and Paul Anthony; his brother-in-law Anthony J Spalla; and also, Adeline Spalla and Shirley Spalla.
