He was predeceased by: his father Winfred A. Witham, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Harriet J. Witham (Op'Dyke); his sister Loretta M. Turner (Jim Turner); his close friend Judy Szymczak; his former wife Edna Carroll; his children, David, Jr. (Courtney Doyle), Laura (Danny Inzerma), JT (Karen Ehrke) and Wade; his grandchildren, Gianna May, Luke Jacob, Adaleana, Schiler, Tristen, Marlena, Aiden, John Thomas, Jr., Cole Patrick and Charlotte Rose; his goddaughter Nicole; and also David. He is also survived by daddy and pop-pop to his adoring children and grandchildren.
Anything undone he would redo as a perfectionist from installation of rooftops, chimneys, kitchens, bathrooms, to beneath the foundation of the house (s).
