Gerrit J. Dobson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerrit J. Dobson of Kimberton, Pennsylvania, born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Dobson (Bonsall) of Kimberton, PA; his parents, Joseph Dobson and Johanna Dobson (Kersbergen); his grandson James Edward Dobson; and his siblings, George Dobson and Constance Baker.
He is survived by: his children, Gerrit J. Dobson, Jr. (Cheryl), Monica (Karl Sheffer), Steven (Cheryl Dobson), Lori Groff and Joan Marie (Anthony Kline).
After Gerrit's retirement he was a volunteer for the Senior Circle at Phoenixville Hospital for many years until the program shut down during the pandemic.
