He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard J. "Jiggs" Beimel and Ruth Williamson Beimel; and his brothers, Frank, Sylvester, Melvin and Walter Beimel.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Pereira Beimel; his children, Janet Beimel of Kersey, James Beimel, Jr. (Janice) of Delmont, PA, Paul Beimel of Fall River, MA, Daniel Beimel of Kersey, Gregory Beimel of Creighton, Christopher Beimel of Uniontown and Karl Beimel (Kristen) of Ellicott City, MD; and his brothers, Carl Beimel of Kersey, Ronald Beimel (Marge) of Kersey, Harold Beimel (Diana) of Kersey and Roger Beimel (Lucy) of Kersey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
