He is survived by: his parent Evelyn R. Short (Miller); his spouse Anna Mae Washburn; his children, Donald E. Short, Jr. (Barb) of DuBois, Robert A. Short (Susan) of Falls Creek and Julia A. Roman (David) of Reynoldsville; his grandchildren, Kasey, Adam, Colton, Taylor, Cory and Breanna; his stepgrandchildren, Jen, Joseph, Jason and Jeremy; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Sawyer, Cade, Lawson, Collin and Haylee; and his siblings, Harold Short (Becky) of Clearfield, Ronald Short (Lisa), Gail McLaughlin of Youngstown and Betty Scudere of Youngstown. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
