With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles A. Swanson of Kersey, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 29, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Swanson and Elvera Gradizzi Swanson; his former wife Delores Gusmerotti; his sisters, Esther Pontzer and Elvera Swanson; his brother-in-law Jerry Vollmer; his daughter-in-law Carol Swanson; and his granddaughter Sarah Woodford.
He is survived by: his wife Vondalee Hottel; his children, Rita Gerber (Robin) of Kersey, Randy Swanson of Kersey, Linda Bankovich (Joe) of Kersey and Lisa LaRock (Barry) of Chemung, NY; his siblings, Patricia Vollmer of Kersey, George Swanson (Ann) of Kersey, Robert Swanson (Kathy) of Kersey and Paul Swanson (Peggy) of Kersey; his grandchildren, Braden, Michael, Matthew LaRock, Carly, Caitlyn, Courtney Bankovich, Ellen, Amy, Adam Gerber, Tyler, Sonya, Emily, Amanda Swanson and Andrew Woodford; and his brother-in-law Pierre Pontzer.
