He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John McLachlan and Mary Kutz McLachlan; his wife Carol Rieger McLachlan; his children, Julia McLachlan Phillips (Mark) and Kristopher McLachlan (Marion Fielding); his granddaughter Abigail Phillips; and his siblings, Jack and Laura. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
