She is survived by: her husband Clee Edgar; her daughter Kde Edgar Mayes (Steve); her grandson Cooper Mayes; her father Donn Barber; her brother George Barber (Cindy); her niece Abby Barber; and her siblings, Donn Barber Jr. and Heather Barber (Jean).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in honor of Suzanne be directed to one of two sources: Johns Hopkins Cancer Center to support cancer research initiatives and Neighborhood Hospice who provided extraordinary care in Suzanne's final days.
