He was predeceased by: his wife RoseMary Hughes (Gormley); and his parents, Donald J. Hughes and Frances K. Hughes (Rhodes). He is survived by: his children, Holly, Alex Vargas, Beth, Denny Bird and Roy Hughes, Jr.; his siblings, Sandy, Kevin and Barbara Hughes; and his girlfriend Christine Wilson. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.
