He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Knowles and Alice Mitchell Knowles. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Knowles; his children, Kathy Knowles of Dover, DE, Kenneth Knowles of Kennett Square, PA, Mark Knowles of Lincoln, VT, Lynn Knowles (Jan Pilch) of Homburg and Germany; his grandchildren, Jaden, Sophie and Anna Pilch; and his siblings, Eunice Potts (Robert) of Lincoln, RI and Donald Knowles (MaryAnne) of Ozawkie, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
