He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Eldreth and Belle Wyatt Eldreth; his brother Bryan Eldreth; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Ann and Louise Eldreth.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sturgill Eldreth; his children, Danny Eldreth (Stephanie) of New Bern, NC and Teresa Teel (David) of Kennett Square; his granddaughters, Amanda Lozada (John), Danielle Patrick (Stephen) and Jenna Eldreth; his great grandchildren, Joey Lozada, Kylie Lozada and Olivia Patrick; and his brothers, Roger Eldreth of Kennett Square and Ronnie Eldreth (Dorothy) of North Carolina.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be made to Willow Tree Hospice, 616 E. Cypress St., Kennett Square, PA 19348.
