He is survived by: his wife Maria Dmytryk Sopko; his grandson Markie Dyke; his sisters, Anna Sopko, Mary Sopko and Stephanie Mihalsky; and his children, Anne Marie Sopko, Carol Brown (Robert), Michael Sopko (Patricia), Theodore Sopko, John Sopko (Maureen), William Sopko (JoAnn) and Tina Dyke (Edward). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
