It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Bruce Townsend (Kennett Square, Pennsylvania), who passed away on March 31, 2018, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Edith Townsend of Baltimore, Robert Townsend (Cynthia) and Collis Townsend (Catherine); her husband Hewitt Townsend; her son Bruce Townsend; her grandson Little John; her sisters, Edith Hazard and Mary Cobb; and also Boyce. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
