We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2022, at the age of 98, Josephine I. Couden of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, born in Zionville, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Carroll Icenhour and Bertha Warren Icenhour; her husband Roy F. Couden; and her son Roy F. Couden, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Peyton of Alto, NM, Patricia Couden of Chadds Ford, PA, Constance Couden of Claremont, NC and William Couden of Toughkenamon, PA; her grandsons, Kevin Peyton, Roger Peyton, Brian Peyton, Chad Peyton and Matthew Couden; her great grandchildren, Sean Peyton and Seth Peyton; and her siblings, Georgia of Maine and Harvey "Ike" Carroll Icenhour, Jr..
