He is survived by: his mother Helen Shafer (Totaro); his children, Alexis McKee (James), Courtney Shafer, Olivia Shafer and Joseph Shafer; his sister Joanne Gallagher (Joseph); his grandchildren, Ella McKee and Declan McKee; his niece Ava; his nephew Charlie; and his pet Bailey.
